MBP 17", 1920x1200 matte LED display, 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM, 250GB 5400RPM HDD, 512MB VRAM
Question: I'm wanting to connect my MBP to my LCD TV so I need a DVI to HDMI cable. Which of these cables do you recommend for the job?

One has ferrite cores and the other doesn't. The one with the ferrite cores is also a smaller gauge and therefor not as stiff and easier to run. I'm thinking about that one.

I know that I'll still need to send sound to my TV which I've already got a cable for.

The second cable is for in wall installation, therefore somewhat thicker and more expensive. I would purchase one that is flexible and can be easily hidden and routed from your MBP to the TV.

Regards.

Any digital cable will work as good as another (Regardless of cost/sales pitch) so choose whichever one best suits your own particular set up/layout.
