I just upgraded to leopard (a little late huh?) and I was poking around for files to delete. I was wondering if these were ok:

The first is of the "speech" folder and contains 700MB+ of voices which I will never use:

The second is a near 500MB folder entitled "Dictionaries":

Thanks in advance guys =)

Well, I guess some voices would be fine, but I would keep the dictionaries.

XMARLTONX,

You could also get rid of your extra languages. Download and use Monolingual: http://monolingual.sourceforge.net/

If you use Office 2007 or 2008, I hear they won't update if certain languages are missing.

Thanks guys. I ended up keeping one voice (Vicki). I use NeoOffice, and I ran monolingual earlier and freed up about 1.5 gb =)
