Hey all, I'm having trouble with DVD audio in my new 05' Acura TL which comes with a 5.1 DVD audio playback system. I've tried every button and step using Platinum Toast and Jam(both version current). I've burned 3 dvd's already using different settings, and they all play fine on other DVD players, but not in the Acura. Any suggestions?

the acuras dvd player may be a brand/model that doesnt support other video or media formats, it may only play dvds and audio cds, and not vcd, svcd, dvdr, jpeg, etc.
if its a stock dvd player, its most likely very basic and doesnt play any burned media at all,
the true test is if it can play audio cds you buy in the store, can it play burned audio cds?
if it cant, get a new dvd player, or only use store purchased movies.

Thanks for you response Vincent. The car player plays all commercial purchases of any audio format. The Moody Blues "Days of Future Passed" sounds pretty sweet in there. All other standard red-book CD's are playing fine that were burned from Toast and Jam.

I'm going to to consult the dreaded dealership. Oye! :(
