I notice that when I goto System preferences, network I can see that my airport card on my imac is connected to my wireless network. I cant see any information about the speeds, data transfer etc... Where can this information be found in Leopard? Do the 4 bars that represent the wireless icon also represent strength?

Thanks for the link. I downloaded and installed this widget - unfortunately it's very brief. I guess I was hoping to find some sort of wireless manager or similar that numerically detailed up/down, wireless strength, link speed etc. Here are some screen shots of the actual widget.

Another one you can try out is iStat which has lots of interesting info regardless. But network info is included as well.

Thanks guys, the inbuilt network utility is sufficient.

en0 is my Yukon Gigabit Adapter 88E8055 Singleport Copper SA
en1 is my Wireless Network Adapter (802.11 a/b/g/n),
and fw0 is described as fw (Firewire maybe???)
