iTunes library home/work

Hi

I'm running iTunes from an external hard drive which I use between work and home.

When I add music to iTunes at home, iTunes doesn't retain the playlists when I open iTunes at work.

Can anyone suggest a way to get the playlists to open at work?

Set both computers iTunes prefs to have the iTunes library on the external drive vice the internal drive(s).

It already is. I set this when I transfered my music from my mac's hard drive to an external Hard Drive. The problem I have now is that when I update my iTunes with new music at home say, I get to my mac at work and those playlists aren't there.

Any other suggestions, there must be a way around this one!
