Please help I have an imac os x, quite old and my daughter wants to use it to connect to the internet - how do I do this??? I currently have a emac which connects with a wireless router. I'm pretty rubbish at this kinda stuff so please give me your answers in idiot form!! thanks!:Oops: :Oops:

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
More details on what kind of iMac you have would help. Year, model, and so on. If it has a built in airport card, then using to get on the internet is straight forward. If no airport card, it should at least have an ethernet connector. That would mean to get on the internet, an ethernet cable from the wireless router to the iMac would have to be used.

Hi

Right, hope I've got this right! its a imac os x version 10.1.2 Memory 12mB Processor Power G3. Thats all the info I can find on the 'About this mac' It doesn't appear to have an wireless card - can I get one for it?
