I have always backed up my files religiously but having recently installed leopard which had Time Machine do I still need to?

Every week I copy my iTunes, iPhoto, Mail folders and archive my Address book and iCal, do I need to with Time Machine is it reliable enough.

Has anybody had to use it in anger!

Please help.

I personally don't use Time Machine. I just back everything up manually by dragging and dropping the folders I wish to keep.

I think Time Machine would be pretty reliable, it does keep multiple backups, so it would take up more space than just keeping one copy of everything.
