Which mac/keyboard? You can either ctrl+click, or if you have a 2 button mouse, right-click the mounted CD on the desktop and choose eject, does that work?

You can right click/ctrl-click the cd icon, press the eject button...or if all of those don't work you can restart the computer holding the trackpad button or left mouse button and it will eject the cd.

Glad you got it sorted, and it was something straight forward.

Thanks!! It wasn't coming out because the CD was still playing :)
Actually, the cd should eject even if it is still playing...

In your first post you said you were hitting Function on the Eject key...
It is actually the eject key alone... And you need to hold it for a couple seconds...

Hope this Helps.
