Losing Internet Connection after update

I updated my iTunes and iPhone this weekend (after problems with the error 1426 error message). Everything works except I'm losing my airport internet connection from time to time. It doesn't seem to matter what I'm doing. My wife has the exact same set-up as I do, but hasn't updated. She's not having the problem, so it has to have something to do with the update. I've tried repairing permissions. I'm currently on interminable hold for tech support. Is anyone else having this problem? (Oh yeah, I'm running 10.4.11)
