Macbook Pro/Windows question

I was wanting to know more about Parallels and Boot camp on a macbook pro.
I read somewhere with Parallels your Mac runs almost like a PC. I was also wanting to know that with Parallels or Boot camp, would I be able to play this game called Maple Story? Here are the requirements:

You will need a licensed copy of XP for a Parallels or Fusion install, but assuming you have that, one simple way to answer your question is to download the free trial of Parallels (or Fusion), install it and Windows, and run your game.
