you dont have to change anything in preferences if are an existing mac member. Mobile me is working fine with basic facilities, but homepage is temp. down .
Major glitches have meant some delays to the system but it seems they are getting ironed out now

I haven't been able to publish a .Mac web gallery (slideshow) since Wednesday night around 10 PM EST. I couldn't get into my local Apple store today because of the 150 deep line, and the "tech" at the head of the line didn't seem to know anything except she said the servers are overloaded so maybe tonight?

Should MobileMe be down for 48 hours... and was that Apple's plan? Just tell us that the servers are overloaded so just be patient for a few days? That's something I'd expect from Microsoft or Comcast... not Apple.

If things are getting "ironed out now" why can't we get this transition over with?
