I have a few hard drives from Western Digital. They are portable hard drives that draw their power from computer via usb. While the mac is able to detect the drive when I run OS X, but when I boot camp vista and XP, the hard drive is not detected. Any solutions? I downloaded the mac drivers off the Leopard CD, but the computer still cannot detect it!

You mention OS X detecets the drives, when you first set them up for use, was it in OS X ? If so they might be all using Mac OS partitioning, therefore when you try to use them under Windows, it'll detect the connection of the drives, but won't give you a drive under My Computer because Windows cannot see those kinds of partitions. Just my thoughts as I went thru this with my external which was originally the internal drive to my Mini placed into an enclosure.
