I was trying to watch the SNL videos on my 10.3 iBook it wouldn't let me, in safari It said your browser doesn't support active X plus it says windows media player not detected. Same in Firefox, but internet explorer just says windows media player not detected. I did download Windows media player, and I know other mac users have had this issue. Now, I know that this shouldn't be that important but this a big help for somthing in school. Thanks

SNL videos for something in school? Wish I had gone to your school...

I think you basically can't watch the videos because of the need to have active X, a technology that isn't supported on macs. (correct me if I'm wrong)

You could try finding out what the direct link for the video is and then opening that through WMP directly...
