I am new to Mac. I have a powerbook and i am trying to burn dvd from my personal collection. can someone help me to understand how i can copy one of my own movies to a blank dvd so that it will play on my drive and dvd players.

do i need other software? i downloaded dvd backup so i can transfer to my mac. but cant figure out how to transfer to a dvd disk and play it.

any help would be great.
