I just recieved my iPod touch today and it works well except that it won't connect to ANY network. I've tried reseting the net work settings.

My house has a private network and my iPod is picking it up. When I type in the pass word it waits a little, then says that iPod is not able to join my network.

There are also two unsecured networks around here that it won't connect to.

I'm gonna try going to starbucks and see if it even connects to their Wi-Fi, I'm not really sure what to do anymore....

I've even disabled my Wi-Fi security and it still didn't connect.

Are the wireless access points using MAC filtering?

Setup your wireless network at home to broadcast SSID, turn off all encryption, and no mac filtering. If it still can't connect send it back to Apple for a new one. (then re-secure your network)Hope you kept the receipt!

Well my brother has a Mac and that works perfectly on our network connection.

I was able to make it connect to the network at my local starbucks so the problem isn't the iPod, and it's not my network since another Mac product works on it.

I'll try to turn off encryption tommorow, see if that helps...
