Hey guys,
So I am trying to figure out the best way to improve my wireless network. Right now I have my cable modem hooked up to an Airport Extreme. I want to extend the signal in order to have better coverage of my place.
This leads me to my questions...
1) What's the difference between a range extender and a repeater? And a bridge?
2) How can you be sure that your extender/repeater is extending YOUR signal and not your neighbors?
3) If I use an Airport express as a repeater, again how do you make sure that it is your signal? And does it keep the password for the network?
4) How badly does speed suffer from using a repeater/extender
Thanks
Andrea
