Setting up a folder on a campus network?

macbook l Ipod nano 4gb l ipod classic 80 gb
I'm going to college this fall and I was wondering if there was any way to put a folder on a college network where everyone can put/download stuff from like music or classwork?

That would depend on your college and what they allow you to do! You could always use iDisk if you are a .mac member - it works well for me.

I'm not a .mac member. if my college allowed it would i have to have an external hard drive for everyones stuff or could i fit it on the network somewhere?

Sharing purchased music is illegal. Colleges should not allow it. I know my doesn't.
