Which MacBook is right for her?

My sister is looking to purchase a MacBook.

She wants something that will run MS Office, Photoshop, store a very small music library and browse the internet smoothly.

Is the cheapest MacBook a good enough machine for this?

More than enough.

My sister just bought the lowest iBook about 3 months ago to use for school. She loves it! She uses it for school (MS Office), and surfing the net. Mac's are good machines, so good luck with your hunt.

Any of the MacBooks would work fine for those tasks, even the original Core Duo MacBooks. You can pick them up for a decent price on eBay.
