Will Backup 3 conflict with Time Machine?

I use Time Machine with a USB hard drive but would also like to use the on-line backup facility with my .Mac account.

I have not been able to find an answer (maybe not looked in the right places), can I use Time Machine to backup to my on-line .Mac or do I have to use Backup 3.1.2?

Can I expect any conflict. I am still in Windows mode having only had my (excellent) iMac for a few months after years of crashing Windows :D

Time Machine is only going to backup what's on your Mac so there should be no conflict with using the on line backup offered by .mac to backup what you have on line. (If I have understood your question.)
