E-mailing Word document

Whenever I e-mail a Word doc. from my Mac to a my PC at work, the content is jumbled up a bit. My PC at work is receiving the document as a mlm. document. Why will it not receive it as a Word document?

If you are using Office 2008, your post does not say, make sure it is saved in .doc format and not the default .docx. docx comes through all jumbled and un readable.

It's Office 2004.....

but I'm guessing the same applies. Thanks.

Well I checked

and it was saved as a doc. so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Next thing to look at is (1) Office 2004 update just released and (2) Office Open XML Converter. Download and install ibn Applications Folder and see if there is any difference.
