hi
on windows i used a file called "host.sam". i had to rename it to "host".
okey.
then i had the posibility to redirect a webadress to an IP.
this is very good for webdevelopment.
when i was working on the page www.designeroutlet.ch for example, i redirectet everything on my computer who wantet to surf on www.designeroutlet.COM to a local IP like 127.0.0.3
then i can just make a vHost with apache.
and while i'm surfing on the .ch domain of the project i just surfet normal on the server, but while i'm surfing on .com (i dont onw the domain), i was surfing on my local computer.
it this possible with mac os x??
