I downloaded the file (BCUpdateXP.exe / 215MB) to upgrade to Boot Camp Ver. 2.1. But when I run the file I get the following error message:
"Error reading from file C:\windows\installer\5c850.msi. Verify that the file exists and tht you can access it."
What's up? Anyone else had this problem?
Help appreciated.
Thanks, Steve

Download the file again. If that same error occurs, you may have to update the Windows installer from MS or you may have a problem with the installer.

BTW, you do not need that update to install SP3 to your Windows XP SP2. SP3 works fine without it - regardless of what Apple recommends.

Regards.
