So many times when I click on a TV or radio station online to watch or listen to something, I get a message telling me that it won't play because I need a plug in. Then my Mac (OSX) asks me if I want to try Windows Media Player, which I have installed. And that won't work either. What is this plug-in I am supposed to have? And why don't Apple pre-install it if it comes up every time I click a media player? The latest one is internet radio. It just won't play.

Flip4Mac is already in one of shfle's links

But even Flip4Mac will not play windows media if it is using DRM protection - Microsoft stopped support for more recent versions of windows media so they could corner the market for DRM on-demand media
