You bought a brand new Mac and there is no OSX DVD with it? New Macs come with Leopard.

Go back to the retailer you purchased it from and ask about the missing discs. It should have come with two gray discs, which are your system discs. You'll need these, not only for proper installation of Boot Camp, but for diagnostic purposes and disaster recovery as well.

gokulb,

Just for kicks... Go back and look in the box your Macbook came in. There should be a small grey box enclosed which has the user's manual and 2 DVDs in it.... One of those is your Mac OS X disc.

You are saying your brand new MBP came with no Install DVD's?

The only way to get the Bootcamp drivers that I have ever seen if off the DVD that came with your machine or a store copy of 10.5.

...and double-check your packaging too. There should have been a black box with manuals, stickers and your discs.

Having had the same problem because I installed leopard from a friend prior to me purchasing, was only about 2weeks ago and should still be up here but the only way to get the drivers for mac are on the leopard install disk.

I'm sure this will change in the coming years but ATM they are only on the disk.

If you are not sure that you should have a copy of the disc i.e. a friend installed leopard but you want whats on that disk you either roll back to the disks you have and don't get bootcamp or purchase a copy. Or goto the shop and get them to give you the disks.

With all the 40+ sets from apple I have never missed a disk or manual. Sounds like your unlucky.

Go back to the place that sold you the mac. If it is a shop tell them that there is no disk. If it was a friend maybe they put leopard on as a favor.

Did you buy it from Apple? If so, then just give them a call. Otherwise, go back to whomever you bought it from.
