Are you running Bootcamp from within OSX?

Ok, you run Bootcamp, make the partition, then it asks you for the Vista DVD, you insert the DVD and it reboots. Is that when it asks that question? Is this a full install of Vista Ultimate?

Also which Mac do you have?

Sounds like something may have gone wrong when you created the partition for Vista using the Boot Camp Assistant. I suggest booting to OS X and run the Boot Camp Assistant once more, only this time click on "restore". That will recover all the disk space you allocated to Vista the first time.

Then run the Boot Camp Assistant once more and create the partition for Vista again.

I also suggest downloading and installing the latest version update (Boot Camp 2.1 for Vista) if you haven't already done so. Do that before attempting to create the partition for Vista. Be sure to read all the instructions for Boot Camp.

Regards.
