Deleted Pictures

I had pictures in my garbage bin...my friend deleted sumthing and emptied the whole garbage bin. Thing is now i need those pictures. How do i get them back?? Or is it a total lost? :Confused:

If you're not using Time Machine it may be a lost cause. However, there are other more complicated and costly ways to get those pictures back. I'll defer to others who are more experienced in this area.

Did you at least leave it on and running or did you just not bother setting it up at all? If you just left in on to perform backups you may be in luck.

For all those reading this thread - remember this: yet another reason to never let someone else use your computer while logged in to your user account.

It takes all of maybe 30 seconds to set up a Guest account if you haven't already done so. Do it. And let them use that account.
