It's pretty simple. I don't know if it will work for games, but it does for everything I have ever done. Just hold the command key (the one next to the space bar with the apple logo on it) then press the letter F while holding the command key.

Hope it works!

I think Command M works in some games too.

Press the Command and 'M' keys at the same time.

I do it all the time for WOW. it doesnt really minimize it but makes teh box smaller to take it off fullscreen. Press them again to put it back.

It works differently for different games, and most of the time there is no shortcut to quit.

For the games I know:
Starcraft - Cmd-M
Halo - Cmd-/ or \ (Can't remember)

Quite a list eh? ;)

Others may include Cmd-F, Cmd-Esc, Ctrl-Cmd-S, Ctrl-Cmd-F.

What game exactly?

What about for the game AssaultCube, I play it full screen and I can't seem to minimize it. I have to quit and then re log on.

Anyone have an idea on how or a command I can type in to minimize it.

Did you try command-tab which will do the same thing as alt-tab?

Don't these games have Help files? It seems odd that they would not provide a tip like that to users.

If you use command+H it should work in World of Warcraft. Have not tried it on any other games tho.

Escape has always worked for me, but I don't play any of the games mentioned. YMMV.
