Curious to know more about the tricks of OSX...

What are your favorite features of OSX? Preferably the more unknown things that can be done.

Thanks!

Quick Look is good. Cover Flow is also really useful for me. I know a lot of people don't bother with it, but I don't know how I got along without it before.

Time Machine is genius too.

Quicklook, so useful, you can see me hitting spacebar all the time on Windows...

And also:
Expose, really helpful even when you have two windows open.

Spaces for me. Makes me feel at home, like I am working on my Linux boxes.

Ditto with spaces and expose... love'em!

This may seem too simple or trivial for some, but I like the feature where you can highlight any text, drag it to the desktop and you have an automatically created text file. It's the little things that I get a kick out of. :D

There are too many to really nail down a favorite, but one of my top five is the ability to drag/drop highlighted text to the desktop and then drop it back into another document.

Edit: I see wcarr3 already posted this one. Oh well...

I don't know if I could pick one.. But Expose.. I'm a huge multi-tasker, and Expose makes doing more work a lot easier and quicker. My girlfriend hates hot-corners, but I love it.

Lock Screen feature. For when you don't want to close your laptop or put it to sleep or have a hot corner put up as a screensaver or log out or shut down.

Just go into keychain, preferences, show in menu bar.

From the icon you can click lock screen.

It keeps those curious to see your computer out.
