New MBP Owner and 1 Q

For starts, I am loving my MBP. It is the best computer I've ever owned. However, I live in CA and my computer can't seem to get the time right. I have it set to sync with Apple, yet the time is 7 hours behind. What's up with apple, this has been going on for 3 days now for me!

This might sound really dumb - but have you set it to the right time zone?

If you have it set up to sync with Apple make sure it's syncing with Apple America and not with Europe or Asia.

I'm in England and I can synch with either and get the right time... yet you guys are apparently 20 or so seconds ahead. Interesting... lol.

Yes, I am linked with the correct time zone and Apple America. I will try linking with Apple Europe, maybe that will fix the problem.

You are not setting the correct time zone. California is in the PST time zone which at this time of the year is GMT -7. That would account for your 7 hour time difference. Your time zone must be set to GMT and not PST.
