itunes movies in gray?

macbook l Ipod nano 4gb l ipod classic 80 gb
every time i try to watch a movie on itunes, even ones ive already downloaded and watched before, the entire movie is in gray for the whole time. the same goes for tv shows. how can i fix this so i can actually watch my movies??

anyone? The entire popup window where the movie usually plays is gray, I can't figure out any way to fix it.
