firefox - Spell Checking

Im dyslexic and find it difficult to spell. Im after some software that will spell check things I type on the fly as I type them.

I thought firefox had a built in spell checker but its not flagging anything i type as incorrect and does not underline it. Is there any way I can get this to work?

I would also be interested in a small light waight application that will spell check whatever I type on he fly. can anyone recommend any software for this?

Right click on the box and select 'spell check this field'.

Sorry, don't know of any software... I use whatever OS X has - good for MSN.

when I type in the quick reply box here (in firefox) when I right click there is no 'spell check this field' option.

If you go to preferences there should be a check box under the advanced tab... might need to check that first. Sorry, just feeling my way here!

You're right, but to clarify ...
Go to Firefox Preferences -> Advanced -> General and then click the 'Check my spelling as I type' box.
