Analouge tv-second moniter

Im thinking of getting a macbook

the one im looking at has video out
would i be able to contect this to an ANOULAGE tv to use it as a second moniter?

The MacBook video output signal is digital, therefore you need to either use a digital to analog convertor or a TV with digital input. The best way would be to purchase a second monitor that has a digital input jack. Just about every new monitor being sold nowadays has one.
