I previously posted a problem I had with my Vista laptop that is making me switch to a Mac (the thread is "a few questions from a switcher to be"). I haven't yet figured out which Mac to get. So tonight my laptop prompted me to install Vista's Service Pack 1. After nearly two hours of a very slow download, the service pack started to install. The first 2 parts installed correctly but the 3rd didn't. So that meant that Vista had to go back to its restore point. So over 3 hours later I'm back to where I started. Yet more proof that Vista (and Windows in general) sucks. I guess the question I have to ask myself is why has it taken me so long to see the light and decide to make the switch. I still have some questions to ask (they will be in other threads) to help me decide which Mac laptop to get.
