changing name of user?

I changed the login name of a user but in finder under places it still shows up as the original name, is there any way to change that? I did ctrl click get info but that didn't solve the problem.

I believe when you first turned your computer on it told you you won't be able to change the name of the actual file... If I remember correctly.

oh darn...i heard there was a disc or something that you could put in to change that stuff because my friend could change his password with it.

I have no clue, check again in a little bit when someone else more knowledgeable than me responds.
