I have a folder that I somehow deleted. I do not remember ever deleting it. When I went to empty my trash there was more being processed then should have been in there. I stopped it and checked and a backup folder of all my father's stuff was mostly gone.
Time Machine did not have this backed up because it was located on an external drive. Is there any way I can recover these deleted items without paying for a piece of $100 software? My father passed away this last easter and I would like to recover this stuff. I have a zip of it on a web server I can transfer to recover most of it if I have to but that will take a day of ftp transfer and I would rather avoid that.
