What is the status of the Gmail Beta, you'd think they'd be done by now, and have it all perfect. It is nice, but sometimes buggy. Especially when in Mail.app, does not connect to server, could not retrieve messages, sent messages appear in inbox...

It's been in beta for a solid 4 years now, probably because Google is always improving on it.

For them, rather than saying that this is the final version, they're probably trying to emphasize that they're never done working on it.

I've never had any problems with it unless I'm capped and using a dial-up speed...
