You won't regret it at all! I'm a new Mac convert myself and I keep finding more and more reasons why I'm glad I switched!!

Congrats Chris!!! That's a great machine you'll be getting. As long as your are patient and are ready to do things a little differently, you are more than ready for a change. Just hang out in these forums, search for answers, and ask questions whenever needed. Welcome to the forum. ;D

I'm too excited to sleep atm haha

When I decided to make the plunge, I considered buying a refurb from Apple.ca to save $200. After looking at them in the store, I walked out with one because I knew the wait would kill me, and it wasn't worth $200! :p

What are you going to do with the PC? May I suggest a sledge hammer?

Chris, good move and welcome in the open after that month in the closet :) Nice to have you with us! Welcome!

dacameraman, If I had a PC like that, I'd be using it all the time. Offer it up to ComputerPowerUser magazine as a candidate for "Computer of the Month," bet you'd win...

I'm a Unix guy. I just recently added an MBP to my setup for college. It's great. Right now, I'm looking for a cheap PowerMac G4/G5 to put Linux on and use as a desktop. Hopefully, I can get my hands on a G5.
