What car should I buy?

What do you guys think? I am thinking about a car in the $30,000 price range. It is for when I graduate (Dec. next year) and a Christmas present. It can be a little more than the $30,000, or it could be less. For now, my list contains the bottom of the line Infiniti G35 Coupe Sport, the brand new Honda Accord Coupe (AWESOME!), the Scion tC (with a turbo kit or some other mods), and the Nissan 350Z. As you can tell, I'm going for the FAST coupe models. Also, I would like to stay away from American cars. No offense, my family has just had bad luck with Ford, Dodge, and Chevy in the past and I don't really want to deal with it. I would like for the car to have GPS and DVD in the dash, as well. If you guys can think of some other model of car for me to check out, let me know! Or, just post your pick for my new car!!!

Way... way too many specs to list.
donno, I was not impressed with the Honda or Subaru's I drove this past week. Neither one of them had any real legroom for me.. but I was also looking at more of a basic commuter so those listed may be better.. if I were looking in that price range though, I'd check out the VW R32 as well

Thanks for the post, Mike. Just forgot to mention something else. My girlfriends step-dad works at an Acura/VW/Jaguar/Porsche dealer, so I may be able to get a deal on those kind of cars (TSX maybe?). He has advised me to stay away from VW because they are ALWAYS in the shop.

I voted other for the VW EOS Turbo. It's fast, fuel efficient, and insurance will likely be much cheaper that some of the other cars you mentioned. As for VW always in the shop, I have had my Passat for almost 2 years and it has never been in the shop for anything.

Test drive the cars and pick the one that feels best for you. I'm dead serious, specs mean nothing if a car isn't fun and comfortable to drive.

All joking aside...
For 30k I'd get an Impreza STi. Or a Neon RT4. Both give about 300hp.

I don't like the new grill on the TSX, but it will grow on me. Out of that line up I wouldn't WOULDN'T get the scion, everybody and their mothers has one. The new accords are nice, but i think that the the area from the rear window to the trunk is too much of a flattening. And if you can wait, they are redoing the 350z and renaming it the 370z, more power, better looks, but a little bit more expensive. And never been a fan of Infinities.

I'm on the same boat as you, getting a car as a graduation present, but I'm waiting for the new Acura TL to be introduced, cause those are my favorites.

You could also try the Lexus IS series??

Although Infinities are expensive and a pain to maintain, I couldn't have described it any better when driving the G35 coupe. When it comes to driving for me, I'm a practical guy who is just interested going from point a to point b with a decent stereo system.
But the G35, out of the ones on your list, has got to be the best driving car. I didn't get a chance to drive the new accords though, which look really nice.

Driving the G35 is really like making sweet smooth love.

My ex's mom owned the G35.. The 2005 model, loaded to the gills.. 6 speaker Bose sound system.. had that "half-second" clutch.. You could take this thing off from a complete stop, in 6th gear.

it's smooth as silk to drive, even over the bumpiest of roads. I can do 0-100 km/h in first gear.

It's a beautiful car. And albeit, the 350z is almost the exact same car. Personally, I love the way the G35 drives, but the looks of the 350z is far superior IMHO.
