Please help, I am currently using the latest version of Handbrake to enclode/rip my DVD collection. I have Perian installed and I know I am using the correct audio settings when encoding a DVD in Handbrake but when I playback movie through itunes connected to my 5.1 amp, it comes out normal sound not 5.1 which I told it to.

I know my 5.1 amp is working because If i tell Front Row to play one of my DVD ripped using mac the ripper, the 5.1 sound is there and is great.

Why can't I get 5.1 soundtrack on handbrake encoded movies? ive everything as I say, 5.1 amp and speakers all working, Perian installed..

Ive encoded movies with 5.1 soundtracks using Handbrake before and they play the 5.1 soundtrack in Apple TV just not on my Mac. (10.4) latest handbrake version.

Please help!!
