Pop in the leopard install disc and let it do its thing. Follow the on screen instructions after that. Your upgrading from Tiger?

Wait, are you sure he should completely flush out his HD? Why not an archive and install? I must be missing something

To be honest I am not sure why he is re-installing in the first place. New Hard drive, fresh wipe,etc....

Then I dont know if you would want to do an erase and install. It will delete EVERYTHING from your computer. Like starting all over again with a brand new one, and then some.

You can do whats called an archive and install, and it will be just like you left it, other than being under the new OS. Its your call though. Ether way, just pop in the disc, and follow the on screen instructions.
