Linksys VPN on a Mac

My Linksys Wirelsee router (WRV200) allows VPN. The Linksys VPN utility appears to only work with PC's not Macs. Is there a workaround here? Is VPN built in to the OS?

System Preferences > Network

Click the "+" sign at the bottom of the list of connections and choose "VPN" from the dropdown menu. Configure the settings as needed.
