I think I hit some kind of button combo that turned my sound off. Now its not working. I hit the volume button and it just displays a blacked out icon and a cancel logo underneath.

Made a video to help

And why is the video backwards/upsidedown????

Thanks everyone

Open System Preferences, Sound. Check and see if it's set to Internal Speakers. Got this tip from another thread.

Ah, thanks a bunch. I checked it and it was set to Screenium Audio, instead of Internal Speakers. Thanks dtrav. [Runs to modesto to shake hand]
