1.1.2 Uk 02 iPhone

I have a UK 02 1.1.2 I phone purchased last week and using an 02 sim.

I have succesfully jailboroken and unlocked using Ziphone.

All I would like to do is install third party applications (app tap installer).

Can anyone adivse me how to do this?

I havew done a little research and it seems that I may have to install 1.1.1 firmware first (downgrade).

Is there anyway to install this app tap installer on 1.1.2 firmware?

If i downgrade to 1.1.1 will my settings and contacts stay the same?

Will phone stay unlocked? Or would I have to jailbreak again?
