Hey

I want to build a mac leopard computer that is able to run up to six screens. I have looked through the net and have come up with the spec of one that I think will work.
will anybody who knows about building macs confirm to me that the following spec will work:

Antec Sonata III 500 Case with 500W Power Supply
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 65W
Zalman CNPS 9500 AT CPU Cooler
ASUS P5N-E SLI Motherboard
Corsair XMS2 DHX 4GB (2*2GB) DDR2 Dual Channel RAM
Four GeForce 7300GT Video Cards
Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
20X DVD Burner
Leopard Operating System

Sorry, putting Mac OS X on a non-apple branded computer is against the EULA. We don't discuss illegal things here, so I'm sorry, but the thread must be closed.


And NEVER buy Western Digital. They suck to no end.

If you truly want to build an Apple system. You have only the following option. Go the Apple on-line store. Select the Mac Pro option and configure it with the processor you want and the number of graphic cards you need to achieve the 6 monitors. Take the default memory and hard drive. Use a third party like Other World Computing increase your disk space and memory needs. After you have done this, you will have any problems with getting supported software updates.
