Incompatible file formats

Is there any way to play non-iTunes/Quicktime file formats on Mac OS X, such as OGG, FLAC, SHN, RAM etc? If there's a patch or plugin or script that will modify iTunes or Quicktime to do this, that would be great.

there are a few codecs for quicktime that allow playback of ther formats, but if youre just trying to play them, and not convert them to another format, Id say use mplayer

Ram -> Realplayer
flac -> macflac (only a converter I think)
ogg shn -> not sure, maybe VLC can play them....

vlc is mediocre and useless in most cases, Id try mplayer first, though what OS are you in?

Yeah, I'd actually like to use iTunes or something like it to change OGG or FLAC to MP3
