Has anyone a recommendation for a reasonably priced good all-in-one printer/scanner that works well with Leopard?

I had a Brother all-in-one which was great, but just recently switched to an HP Photosmart 8270. I can now print in color paper as well as photos. Paid $199.00 for it at Future Shop.

I have a all-in-one Brother DCP 330C printer for my iMac and it's a great. The only problem is that the Brother Printer didn't come with the latest driver for Leopard, when I found this out I had to go download the newest driver and it was all good.

I had an HP OfficeJet which worked just fine until something inside broke (gear or some such thing). Just bought a HP PhotoSmart C7280 and it's been great so far.

I have Brother mfc-5840cn. Had it before leopard. Works fine. It is wireless and prints from any machine on the network. It also has card slots which my MBP does not.

I have a HP F340 and it worked good on Tiger and works fine also on Leopard. I am also very surprised at how cheap the cartridges are - I previously had an Epson and the cartridges were over twice as much!

What, you think the only time people need a new printer is when they are going to buy a new Mac?

Or should they go buy a new Mac so they can get a free printer?

And what if you don't want that cheap piece of $50-80 printer they're giving away when you do buy a Mac?

I wonder if these all-in-ones work when connected to an Airport Extreme?

I am using the Canon MP830. Great text printing, decent photo printing, excellent scanning, and if you need it, a fax.

I used this All in One before I switched to Mac. Everything works great with the Mac. Downside to the MP830 is that it is not networkable and initial startup is a little slow.

Reasonable price??? That is subjective. You can get it for $200 at Newegg.

I'm also looking, does the C7280 come set up for Leopard or do you need to download the latest drivers and software?

I have the Canon MX700. It works really well as a scanner, fax, printer, and copier. It has a reasonably size footprint as well. I'm happy with it.
