love the contrast and BW, reminds me of the old vintage shots you see around SF

That would look amazing in HDR..

Great composition. You were able to use the piers to your advantage to keep the picture looking balanced despite the horizon more at the lower half. I only wish that you could do something about that overexposure in the center.
