I just received my MacBook today and I LOVE IT! But, I have a few questions.

How do I create stacks?

Where can I find some "beachy" wallpapers for Mac?

What do you recommend I should check out or play around with (since this is the first Mac I have owned)?

What do I use to open .img formats? I downloaded Worms off of a website and I can't play it.

1. Just drag any folder into the right side of the dock to create a Stack.

2. Interfacelift has a lot of wallpapers. Not sure about beachy though.

3. Just play around with the OS for now and get used to how it works.

4. Do you mean .DMG? Well you double click that file, and it will mount on your desktop. In the mounted image, you need to drag the 'worms' or whatever application in there into your applications folder. Then you ejected the mounted image on your desktop by dragging into the trash. Do not double click the application while in the mounted image. For more info, just google how to install apps on Mac to get a good idea.

Thanks for all your help but when I drag a folder onto the right side of the dock, Applications for example, it goes but when I click it, it just opens like a folder instead of folding up or into a grid.

If you don't have a mouse that "right clicks" you can control click which will give you options to change the default for what happens when you click the icon.

Or you can go into system preferences and than keyboard and mouse and than trackpad and check double finger tab to right click. Does the folder that you are dragging onto the dock have anything inside of it?

I figured out why it wasn't fanning out like it was suppose to, it wasn't preloaded with Leopard. Once I checked what system I was running, I installed leopard.
