Safari problem

On an average(1 out of 3),safari will not connect to my modem.I have to restart the computer to get it do so.Solution/s.

humm If I understand right, you might want to check your Safari Options and see if it will connect when opened. I'm not quite understanding what you mean though

Are you connected with WPA or WEP? Does it only happen in Safari, or does Firefox work?

Opened Safari preferences but could find no options link.Please explain.

Am using WEP.Firefox also will not connect when Safari refuses.

This sounds like a connection problem and not a browser issue. Who is your ISP?
