Missing filter in Motion

I've installed the Final Cut Studio package on my new macbook pro. When i start motion, it looks as if there's some filters missing (i have like 36 of them)? And then when i've worked on a project in motion, and open it up later, then the only filter i have left is keying ? If i make a new project, then i still only have primatte/keying ?

I've re-installed a couple of times, and it works again. But still with limited filters. And then after a while, i only have primatte/keying ?

I have reinstalled a lot, and then i have 39 filters. They dont disappear gradually, they disappear suddenly, and not just one or two... they all disappear at the same time.Please help:(

It sounds to me like you or some automated process is removing the filters. It is certainly weird behavour that I do not have an answer for.

I just looked for my Motion (version 2.1.2) filters and for some reason they appear to be in the /<Diskname>/Users/Shared/Motion folders. I have to wonder if I had the option during install time to place them there.

You might want to go to the Apple forums and ask there.
